Get Involved
Sattya Volunteer Crew
Come be part of something creative, hands-on, and community-driven.
Be Part of the Space
The Sattya Volunteer Crew is a way to jump in and be part of what's happening. Whether you're into art, DIY culture, or just want to be around a creative, active space - this is how you contribute and take part.
How It Works
There's no minimum commitment. We share opportunities as they come up, and you decide based on your time and interest. You can help out once or stay involved regularly. When you do sign up for something, we expect you to show up and communicate clearly. To officially join, you'll attend a short orientation where we walk through how things run, what to expect, and how to get involved.
Who It's For
The Volunteer Crew is primarily for people aged 18-25. If you're outside this range, there are other ways to be part of Sattya - through sessions, events, residencies, and more.
What It's Like
You're part of the day-to-day rhythm of the space. You might be helping run an event, supporting a session, or just stepping in where needed. Some roles are planned, others come up as things happen. It's hands-on, flexible, and shaped by what's going on at the time.
Ways to Get Involved
You can contribute in different ways depending on your interests. This might include event support, photography, design, content, or helping with the general flow of the space. You don't need prior experience. Most of it is learning by doing.
Stay Connected
Monthly meetups are a simple way to stay involved. These are low-key hangouts - coffee catch-ups, movie nights, or hands-on creative sessions. You also get a closer look at what's happening behind the scenes, from events to the everyday flow of Sattya.
Pitch In & Contribute Ideas
Volunteers are part of how things grow. You're welcome to bring ideas, join brainstorming sessions, and share feedback on what's working and what's not.
Perks & Recognition
We keep this simple, but consistent. Volunteers are featured through social media and community posts, and it's a good way to build hands-on experience in events, creative work, and community spaces. For those who stay engaged and reliable, we can provide recommendations when appropriate. Certificates are available on request after consistent involvement, and over time there may be access to additional opportunities within the space.
A Shared Responsibility
All volunteers are expected to follow Sattya's Code of Care, helping keep the space respectful, safe, and welcoming for everyone.
