Sattya
What is Sattya
Sattya Media Arts Collective is a community arts space in Kathmandu, Nepal.
Since 2011, it has been a place where artists, photographers, activists, storytellers, and curious people come together through making, media, and shared projects.
It's your creative community in Nepal, built on DIY and do-it-together values — where creativity is social, accessible, and part of everyday life.
Mission
Sattya's mission is to be a catalyst for creativity, learning, and community.
We create space for artists, media makers, students, and anyone interested in hands-on learning to connect, experiment, and help shape Nepal's creative culture.

How We Work
Sattya is still evolving.
Some parts are structured. Some are still being figured out. We test ideas, adjust, and build based on what works.
The goal is to keep the space active, accessible, and sustainable over time — within the context of Nepal's growing creative ecosystem.
