This month, Screen.IN is presented in collaboration with Film Southasia , with the Coke Studio origin story "The Journey Within" . The documentary traces the beginnings of Coke Studio in Pakistan, exploring how a music show became a space for musicians across folk, Sufi, rock, pop, and other traditions to meet, experiment, and create together. Set against the backdrop of post-9/11 Pakistan, the film looks at music, cultural identity, and the search for connection during a complicated period in the country’s history. Screen.IN is Sattya’s laid-back community film night: shared viewing, cushions on the floor, popcorn being passed around, and conversation after the credits. Come watch with us, and stay afterwards for an open discussion around the film, the music, and the questions it raises.
Come for the games, stay for the fun, chaos, and competitive spirit. Bring a friend or come solo, there’s always room for you. Game Night is back at the Art Cafe for another evening of cards, board games, questionable strategies, and very serious arguments over rules that nobody reads properly. Pick something from the table, bring a game you love from home, come with friends, or show up solo and join a round. You don’t need to know how anything works before you arrive, we’ll figure it out together. Expect easy games, competitive games, games that make no sense for the first ten minutes, and at least one person getting far too invested. There’ll be popcorn, drinks, and plenty of tables to settle into. Win dramatically, lose with dignity, blame the rules if necessary, and stay for another round.
