Screen.IN: The Journey Within

This month, Screen.IN is presented in collaboration with Film Southasia , with the Coke Studio origin story "The Journey Within" . The documentary traces the beginnings of Coke Studio in Pakistan, exploring how a music show became a space for musicians across folk, Sufi, rock, pop, and other traditions to meet, experiment, and create together. Set against the backdrop of post-9/11 Pakistan, the film looks at music, cultural identity, and the search for connection during a complicated period in the country’s history. Screen.IN is Sattya’s laid-back community film night: shared viewing, cushions on the floor, popcorn being passed around, and conversation after the credits.
