Sattya Mentoring - Sattya Mentoring is about connecting aspiring artists in Nepal with experienced photographers, journalists, writers, filmmakers, designers, poets, illustrators and artists in general. This is a free service/opportunity for anyone, regardless of age or skill, who wants to gain more experience in their particular field of interest and do so in a space where they can flourish creatively. Through Sattya Mentoring, we hope to create a supportive and collaborative environment where both the mentor and mentee are able to share their passion and learn from each other as peers. We encourage ample exchange of wisdom, knowledge and debate both ways!

How it Works: Sattya Mentoring will connect skilled professionals in their field with an aspiring artist or student for a 3-month period. The duo will meet two or three times a week to share work, inspire productivity and create a healthy discussion and critique about the work created by the mentee.

For Mentors: As a mentor, you will be providing an up-and-coming artist with the tools and confidence they need to master their craft. This is your chance to guide, inspire and motivate someone in the field you are passionate about. Sattya will provide mentors with the necessary support and guidance they need throughout the mentoring process. There will be regular meetings to discuss the mentor and mentees challenges with Sattya. By signing up to be a mentor, you’re committing to at least 3 months of regular meeting/correspondence with the person you will be mentoring. If you’re interested in becoming a mentor, apply here (coming soon).

For Aspiring Artists (Mentees): If you’re an aspiring artist who wants to develop your craft, this is a great opportunity to connect with someone who’s out there doing it! Both you and the mentor will be devoting a significant amount of time and energy developing your confidence, skills and porfolio. You will get ample feedback on your work and will be expected to regularly share personal work with your mentor. You will be encouraged to communicate your experience, needs and challenges to your mentor. By signing up as a mentee, you’re committing to least 3 months  of regular/meeting correspondence with your mentor. If you’re interested in having a mentor, apply here (coming soon).
