Outreach Coordinator Vacancy

Sattya is hiring an Outreach Coordinator, who will connect us with new partners, organizations, and communities. This is a job for someone who likes being out of the office, a flexible schedule, meeting new people, explaining projects, and creating new connections.

This is a paid position.

Responsibilities:
-Connect Sattya with new organizations/colleges/insitutions
-Research and develop outreach plans for new participants or partners
-Reach out to local communities (ex: obtain permission to screen films)
-Inform relevant organizations and individuals about upcoming workshops and opportunities
-Media promotion
-Manage College Reps program
-Encourage involvement from new participants
-Promote Sattya’s programs

Requirements:
-College graduate
-Spoken Nepali/English
-Be able to work independently and take initiative
-Possess research skills
-Must be comfortable communicating/networking with people from all kinds of backgrounds
-Project focused: create goals and complete them on a timely basis

Desired skills:
-Excellent communication skills (English and Nepali)
-Established connections with arts, business, and/or local communities
-Has own vehicle
-Interest in art, media, and activism
