Join us for an action-packed week of events and workshops at the Chowk! Come learn, build, and help us prepare for our opening day on November 24th.
MAIN EVENT:
Building our mud brick outdoor kitchen and pizza oven, ongoing all week, 10 am – 6pm every day.
SPECIAL EVENTS:
Women’s Work Day, Saturday November 3
A women-only day to empower our community’s women to come out and build! The group will learn about how to build with mud bricks – a simple technique anyone can do – and we will begin the construction of our pizza oven. Please bring your mothers, sisters, daughters, and aunties along. All ages and backgrounds and any level of building experience is welcome!For this event we are proud to partner with Women LEAD (women-lead.org), a local organization that equips young women to become changemakers in Nepal.

Community Workday, Saturday November 10
A pumped up version of our usual Saturday Community Workday, ending in an evening snack and chill-out session at the Chowk with all our volunteers.
