Intro to Photo Editing Workshop

An introduction to modern photo management and editing software

So now you’ve figured out how to use your shiny digital SLR camera, and you’ve filled up a few memory cards with great shots of interesting subjects. What’s next? The good and bad news is that you’re about halfway there. It’s one thing to take a bunch of nice pictures, but to really bring out their full potential with the aesthetic you want (whether it be professional or low-fi), you’ll need to learn the latest and greatest post-production techniques. You’ll also need to learn how to organize your quickly expanding collection of photos. This two-day workshop will help you through the whole process from beginning to end.

Covering:

  • Importing and managing photos in Adobe Lightroom
  • Post-processing on photos; developing in Lightroom’s digital darkroom
  • Optimizing and exporting photos for printing or publishing to the web

The first day will focus on importing and working with libraries and metadata, while the second will delve straight into the processing of photos.
