Aba Ke Garne: The Summer Writing Workshop for Fiction

Young emerging writers of Nepal: write your story!

Because no one else will.
Because no one will do it better.
Because no time is more important.

When: June 6-19 (3 hour meetings 3 times weekly)

Where: Bookworm (Jhamsikhel, Lalitpur)

Timings for the sessions will be decided once applicants have been finalized.

APPLICATION DEADLINE: May 17th, 2010
COST: Rs. 150 registration fee (No one will be turned away for lack of funds.)

AGE GROUP: 16-30 years

Workshops will only consider works in English.

Facilitated by :

Muna Gurung is pursuing her MFA in fiction at Columbia University. She’s working on a novel which keeps turning into short stories. She will be teaching an undergraduate writing course at Columbia University in the fall.

Tsering Lama, is a Tibetan born in Nepal currently doing her MFA in creative writing at Columbia. She writes fiction, poetry, and plays and is currently working on a novel. Her works have been published in magazines and an anthology in Canada and India.
