Story Of Stuff (Postponed!)

Story of Stuff

Watch. Learn. Act.

You can never get enough of what you don’t need to make you happy.
~Eric Hoffer

UPDATE: Unfortunately, this program has been delayed until further notice. We will get it up and going soon, but things have just been to crazy in Kathmandu lately. Sorry!

Do you often wonder about why you end up buying the things you buy? Have you ever wished for different ways of acquiring, using and discarding things you use in everyday life? Would you like to use your ideas and your talent to make a difference? In its upcoming venture, Sattya aims to bring garbage and art together in a unique combination to help us re-evaluate our relationship with our society, the market, and this earth.

The full day workshop will include:

• Film screening of The Story of Stuff
• Debate and discussion on the changing patterns of consumerism in Kathmandu
• Concluding art project
